Are you talking about the recessed Sound Supports armboard like this one?



The new collar will fit any Jelco armboard, but as you can see from this picture that Hamish sent me of his 250ST on a flat armboard, you may not get the arm to go low enough unless the middle of the board is recessed by 5mm or more. Check that you have at least 5mm between the top of the Jelco collar and the bottom of the armrest plate.

Actually, the few design alterations are a matter of getting the CAD drawing changed and it would be a straightforward matter to have a batch made up if there was demand.

I also have a black Ittok II and an Ekos 1. Had the Ekos given the heavy works by J7 of Audio Origami.. topscale silver wiring, damping of arm tube, and decoupled gold plated counter weight. I was going to use the Ittok on my 1210 but it would have meant drilling a hole for the arm rest, as per Linn armboard, but could see probs on that one so bought a second hand Jelco750D which I now need your mod for! I will be using a Sumiko headshell but would like to trial a carbon fibre headshell? Any knowledge on this last one? The Ekos remains on my LP12 for now, but I intend trying it out on my Tekko as I'm sure it would work a treat especially as Linn arms and Jelco have more or less the same gene/DNA

A word of friendly advice,,, take out a registered pattern on your mod, you may not be able to go into numbers production now, but later you could do so. There is always someone who will grab your idea and stick their label on it

Just got my collar in the post. Great packing, instructions, tools, fittings and the collar itself is a beautifully made item.

All I can say at this stage is well done Hugo. I will try and find an opportunity to fit it later today.
