Yes, too expensive the Micromega, Jonboy, as will be the Moon, AlexM. Krell are red too, but also too expensive. Even the Regas are too expensive to use just as a transport. The display on my Cambridge Audio Diskmagic is green so the red plastic would make it go brown nat8808. Although if I bought a player with a white display that might work mmmmm.... Would my LCD display be illuminated by a green led? I cannot see when I take the lid off. I presume it could be changed to red? Has anyone done this? Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming.

I reckon the green backlight is too much integrated with the LCD.. could be wrong though.
