I think there was a sub-forum that was called something like "Pub car park", which was for more contentious issues. Or was that PFM?

Yeh, it was just another wanky sub forum, with uptight moderators, the kind of people who tell you off for saying a bloke in a dress does not a woman make. Shocked I tell you!

Yes it was the pub car park with lots of mikey taking and arguments with general tough and tumble.

A general observation would be that most Hi Fi forums I visit regularly do tend to lean to the left, PFM, Wig Wam, Hi Fi Subjectivist, Maverick. I tend to try and avoid the political areas of the forums.

Don't remember Hi Fi Subjectivist being particularly left wing in its views. But it was run by someone who had some distinctly odd, and sometimes contradictory, ideas.

No the Wam just a had a woke sub forum (Tory bashing thread etc) whereas Pfm is pretty much woke everywhere.

    It's back online.

If you're keen to update your profile or password I suggest you do it now.

There was talk of a password leak so might be worth updating.

Can't say I thought the Wam was especially 'woke' (pejorative meaning) though.
What is woke supposed to really mean? I'd read a while back it was something that meant , to care for others feelings? Now it seems in the media at least, bunch of weird nobs with pink hair that dont like petrol or straight white people
