If it's as good as or better than their top ones of old, and not just marketing hype, it's welcome news and further evidence of the resurgence in CD playback.
Very nice looking, but why is one of the grab handles on the piss? Any idea of prices?
Both grab handles are shaped:

Lol I thought from the title of this thread that this was your new transport and said to myself gotta get over to Gary's place for a listen to this
Naa...
Still saving for that.
Tho' been modding the Audiolab and Im thinking if I've hit "good enough"?
Nothing hardcore yet, just case isolation, case damping and RFI treatment, like I've done with other bits n bobs.
Nice improvements, the 6000CDT responds well.
Lots of room to get more performance out of it I think.

Found some good electronics/power supply mod threads online, might get my guy at Loud and Clear Edinburgh to cast his eye over those at sone point.
Only thing thats a deal breaker is lack of a digital XLR out, though the coax is very good, especially with your cable Big Bri Bri.
:D
Enjoying CDs again,
The Teac looks a solid bit of kit, like it a lot (in black, natch)
Nota bad looking transport, have to say I am tempted.
Been looking at their older ones which I think are better from a cosmetic point of view. Trouble is they are 20 years old now and you don't know how much time they have left on them.
Nothing wrong with the performance of the Audiolab I use now but I don't like the looks much and the slot loading irritates me.
